arabbitshole’s 2025 creatives published by daylon hicks

2025 was a year that pushed the agenda of how creativity can be viewed. From experimentation with design and how AI can be implemented to showcasing the importance of community through fashion, this year set the standard how important creativity. At arabbitshole, we thrive on the meaning of digging deeper and these creatives have been apply that method in their own way.

Antonie Manning pushed that trait to the core with Homage Year, embedding personal narratives into the brand’s design framework. Collections such as the TENURE collection and pieces such as the Shoe-Tossing Hoops translate lived experiences into garments through detailing, material selection, and motifs. Each release operates as a moment, using form, finish, and placement to carry meaning. Separately, Galen Cason applies a similar philosophy through his own brand with a sharper focus on clothing itself. His work emphasizes precise tailoring, and refined silhouettes, utilizing technical fabrics, structured paneling, and functional seam work. By streamlining design language, he prioritizes fit, construction, and wearability, allowing the clothing’s architecture and material performance to communicate purpose.

Joshua To, VP of Product Design for AR, AI, and Wearables at Meta and founder of Soup, has advanced his work on a technical level by developing products designed for everyday use while also advocating for affordable housing through Soup. The team at Play emphasizes building brands with global impact, work that can be interpreted and experienced across cultures and platforms. Similarly, Jeremy Volk, founder of TALT and Study Hall, carries this mission forward in his own unique approach, creating work that feels deeply personal while remaining widely resonant. Edeline Gosali, Senior Designer at Landscape applies that same personal feeling working with companies such as Acorn Genetics, Cookma, Stripe, Visions and more.

Kara Fabella, a creative director and stylist, highlights the importance of sustainable fashion through her work, with features on KQED and at the Startup Art Fair in San Francisco. Gargi Kand, Co-founder and CPO of Vently, centers community at the core of her work, building a platform designed to make finding and engaging with community more accessible. Vonte Carter, a Portland-based photographer, captures the beauty of community by documenting artists and creative spaces. Jiayue Li, a graphic designer and illustrator, embodies the beauty of artwork through thoughtfully composed pieces such as Lily of the Valley, Freckles, and more, emphasizing the power of negative space alongside a refined palette of soft pastel colors to create balance and clarity.

As we move ahead to 2026, creativity will reach new heights, continually evolving through innovation and we for one can’t wait to witness it. Designers, artists, and makers will push the boundaries of their disciplines, blending technology, craftsmanship, and storytelling in ways that challenge convention. This forward momentum will not only inspire fresh ideas but also create meaningful connections, transforming how we experience creativity in a purposeful way.
