afterlands event published by daylon hicks

To mark the ten-year anniversary of Free Bread and in the spirit of Outside Lands, Noise Complaints joined forces with Free Bread to present “Afterlands”, a night dedicated to community, culture, and connection. Hosted at Four One Nine, the event brought together an electric mix of music and artistry, featuring sets from Cardo Got Wings, Drewbyrd, Cal-A, Jenno, and MightBe JB with special appearances from Larry June and P-Lo

It was a event that truly celebrated Bay Area culture and how music can push the feeling of connection on a deeper scale. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, blending the city’s rich musical influences with a sense of homegrown pride.

Beyond the music, Afterlands emphasized the mission both Noise Complaints and Free Bread have focused over the years, creating spaces that bring people together and deepen cultural ties. This was more than just an anniversary party; it was a testament to a decade of building community, fostering collaboration, and amplifying local voices.

We had the opportunity of showcasing the overalll energy of Afterlands, the impact that Noise Compliants and Free Bread established and showcase how they are digging deeper with community.
